Trip of the year...maybe lifetime

.......... hello, anybody out there??

I got it in my head I wanted to buy a motorhome a travel around the US for a full year. Yeah the whole sale the house, "roadschool" the kids kinda gig. Well that didnt go over well with the rest of the family, but they agreed to 3 months. 3 months was cut down to 5 weeks and here we are. Day 1 on the road.

The RV wasnt cheap but surprisingly obtainable on my sad salary with a ton of help from some serious ebay selling over the past couple months. It has been a moneypit getting it road worthy, but a test outing with the fellas at Rockwell Relay gave me some confidence that "Eddie" was up for the journey. The previous owners gave it the name Eddie and it stuck.

Day one we made it to Rock Springs Wyoming. KOA camping at its best. Kids love the pool and the playground and even made some friends. I think they are pleasantly surprised that this trip might not actually suck as bad as they thought
