How old must one be before you can begin to reflect on what your life is, was, and will become? Sitting in a chair cubicle farm doesnt seem like a great way to spend a lifetime but if I am not careful it may be what I look back on and regret.
How can you alter the train of life that has picked up speed and started heading down the track you are not interested in? I have all the right passangers on this train, just not sure the path and sights are what I envision for myself or family
Does any child that dreams of what there life will be ever become that person? I guess if so there would be a huge excess of firemen, astronauts, lawyers and doctors in the world. I am not sure what path I should be on, but I am sure that I have not found it yet....

You wrote it first, but whether you or I reached the conclusion first, I'm not certain. Thanks for putting words to my thoughts.
A businessman visited a small village on the coast in Mexico. There, he met a young man who agreed to take him fishing. The newly commissioned guide took the businessman to the ocean. While they were fishing, the businessman asked, "What else do you do?" The man said, "well, I wake up in the morning, have breakfast with my wife and kids, play on the beach, and sometimes I go fishing, and sometimes I work." The businessman says, do you have any other job? The man said I catch fish and take people fishing. They pay me. It is enough. The businessman says, you know, I'm having a really really great time. This is something I would pay more for and something I would come do every year. I would bring friends and they would bring their friends. You could make a lot of money.
And then what would I do the man asked? The businessman said, well, you could by a bigger, nicer boat, that would take and attract more people. You could raise your price and make more money.
But what would I do with the money? Well, said the businessman, you could buy another boat and hire a crew. And who knows, soon you might have a fleet and many people working for you?
Well, then what would do? What would you do? asked the businessman, well, you could retire with lots of money. Think of all the things you could do with your family.
Could I wake up and eat breakfast with my family? Yes yes. And play with my children on the beach? Yes yes. And occasionally fish or occasionally work? Yes yes, you can do all that said the business man. With lots of money, you can have freedom.
But isn't that what I do now? asked the man.
If only life were that simple. . . . actually, maybe it is.
