Burnt

Took a nice relaxing ride up Millcreek Tuesday, didn't miss the RMR because I was shreddin trail on my new SJ. The leaves are turning colors, the trails are empty, and knee and arm warmers are recommended. Its a great time to ride the 1 track.

Double point DMV last night and all the big guns showed up, I am not a big gun so I was blown after 30 minutes. A break got off about 20 minutes in so I went to the front tried to bring it back for Sohmy, no such luck. I think they eventually caught the break. C Hoffman destroyed it solo. He is on the tear to catch Robert for that #2 plate. Me, I'll be happy to hang on to a top 10. DH flatted early.

The Kokopelli Tri is this weekend in what I call my hometown, St.George. I disowned Ragtown. Its gonna be tough just to finish, but I will do my best to have fun. I stepped up to the Olympic distance which means a 10k is in my future. I don't think I have ever ran that far in my life.

What is this cyclocross thing everyone is getting excited about? Maybe in November.....I still gotta ride the 4(or 5) Canyons before the snow gets here

You have to do the loop from Cottonwood-Emigration-East Canyon Resort-Jeremy Ranch-PC-Guardsman Pass-Cottonwood. Lots of dirt road on the skinny tires. I would recommend going counter clockwise though. Going up to Guardsman from Deer Valley is tough, 15% grades.
