After a death defying 1500 meter swim in 30 MPH winds, 3 foot swells, and pissing rain I decided I was done doing with the Kokopelli tri, that was as I got out of the water, 5 minutes later I heard some great words from the announcer,"the Race has been cancelled". Standing there in my wetsuit in the pissing rain seeing the disappointment on every ones face I couldn't help but grin.
I TT'd up Snow Canyon yesterday after the rain broke. Today was Stucki Springs/Race Course for a couple hours in the mud on the MTB, now I sit and blog with blue skies and palm trees in my view and I don't really want to come home. I miss the SG, its so relaxed. I dont really have anything in SLC to go back for....
So come on down and ride the race course cause it wont be there much longer....pictures to come..
