All towns ending in fish have been pretty cool including Whitefish. Nice and cool here in Northern Montana. Stayed in the 60's most of today. Sure beats the 90's back home. Something I don't understand about this area is the elevation. It is fairly low at 3000 ft and the trees and mountains look and feel like 8000 ft. I did a really nice ride just out of town on the Whitefish trail. Great trails.
Life in an RV is pretty sweet. We walk and ride bikes a lot more as a family since we don't have a car to drive. Short trips in the motorhome is not ideal so pedaling or walking is usually our choice. TV time is pretty much non existent with only the occasional DVD for the kids. We dont eat out as much, we cook almost all of our meals. I think we have eaten out twice in the 2 weeks we have been out. The small space hasnt been much of an issue. We send the kids out when it gets hectic and we need to fix food or clean. Having a 2 year old has been the biggest challenge. Cade is way more work than all 3 girls have been, but he is worth it. He is always making us smile and laugh
Who knows maybe life on the road is just what this family needs. A year out doesnt sound as crazy as it did a couple weeks ago...there is still plenty of this amazing country we have yet to see.
Off to Missoula tomorrow

One of the best pastries I ate was at a bakery on Kalispel main street -- sweet potato sweet roll.
