Bye Glacier

We had 4 good days on Glacier. Other than the lackluster performance of the free shuttle system throughout the park that we were subject to without a car, it was a fun experience for the whole family. Nightly Forest Ranger lectures in the outdoor amphitheater were great along with the late afternoon swims in Lake McDonald and Huckleberry Ice cream at the Apgar village.

We are in Whitefish now for a couple days. We headed to the Ski Resort for some bike riding and ended up with double flats and walked down the entire mountain. I have some really good luck. Great trails in Whitefish when your tires have air. At this point we will start heading south, making our way back. We are way ahead of schedule but I haven't been able to work as much as I thought so we may have to get home sooner. We are thinking of hitting Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons on our way, just to knock out a couple more National Parks on the trip. Maybe even a slight detour to the High Uintas.
