UTCX 5/6

Ali coming at you in this one.
Me leading if you can believe that. I think Bart and Ali just needed a short breather.

Saturday was much better race then Sunday for me. I just didnt have the power out of the corners as I did on Saturday, my back needs some rest and massage. Saturday was great to be with the leaders all day, felt like I was on the rivet most of the time but was able to relax on some of the straight aways. Ali got a gap with 1/4 lap to go, Bart closed it but I couldnt. My chances were blown at that point. If I could have stayed with them for the final sprint I think could have made it interesting. Lesson learned. I was happy to be at the front, just last year I was never near the front of the race. 2 years ago Bart was lapping me.....

Sunday I blew the start and was caught up in first lap traffic. I didnt have it in me to join the leaders but enjoyed the race. FYI we are already more than halfway done with the UTCX season....only 5 races to go. That makes me a little sad. I hope I have at least one more win in me!
