almost ready

Getting closer. Are you ever 100% ready. A couple more weeks of threshold intervals, then its time to tune the high end chasing motos and racing. I am getting worked at DMV but that can be expected, 3 more races and I could hold my own, too bad they are pretty much over. Racing the CX bike out there is a bit challenging in the corners and 30 minutes is almost a waste of $8. Stop lights have become my starts training and a couple barrier sessions at the park have gotten me in the mood. All we need now is some torrential rain.

UTCX Oct 3rd in Ogden will be the first CX race for me. A cancelled RMR training series, no Crossvegas and cancelled Boise race on the 26/27. Having one early would be nice to shake out the mud from last year. Too bad the parks are littered with football games on the weekends right now or we could do an early cutthroat race.

This year in UTCX should be a good one. If your not racing, plan on coming out and being entertained at the best cycling show on earth. CX makes the TOU crits seem about as exciting as church on Sunday...

15 days!

Is the cornering problem due to the fact that your chain was dragging on the ground, throwing sparks?

Now only if the weather cooperates. Sunny and upper 80's this weekend is not a good sign of things to come. We need a cool down!

Cross is certainly in the air. DMV brought out you, Bart, Jared and me to work on a little high end speed last night. I'll be glueing tires tonight.
