Dumbass Canyon
Every year I forget to avoid Millcreek Canyon on the 4th. This year was no different than years past. The Fred's bust out the 80's bike, fill up the fanny pack with granola and proceed to average 3 MPH for the day. Everyone else decides its a great day to shuttle the crest trail and for some reason forget, or have no idea of trail rules. I had 2 guys racing down GWT passing each other at the same time I was passing them coming up ....nice. Another older gentlemen in a yellow Utah Mountain Biker Jersey with his little pecker out relieving himself on the trail. I guess its time to make the trip up Parleys until that gate is closed or the Freds get a flat that they dont know how to fix....

Yep, I promised myself last July 4th would be the last time I visited Millcreek Canyon for a ride on that holiday, and boy was Park City wonderful this year!!!
I feel your pain though.
The Crest was empty on Friday. Saw only 3 runners. No bikes. The Mm had a few out there, mostly between Red Pine and the Canyons.
