TEACH YOUR KIDS TO SKI !

Learning at 30 SUCKS!! I am very close to retirement after only my 3rd time out on the skate ski's. Being passed by men, women and children like I am standing still and hitting the ground way to many times is taking its toll on my ego. My fragile self worth is about to break. The trainer in the basement is starting to sound relaxing.

On another note we spent New Years in St George and we could not have picked a better few days to spend in the sun. I was reminded of what a great trail the Zen trail is and how much cross can help your technical skills on the MTB. I also went trail running and ran into some mud. I think Rich was trying to kill me. The kids had fun hanging out with friends and going down the water slide at the pool a million times.

Good times last night at the cross party. Matt, Jon and the guys know how to put on a party. I dont think they can ever top last year though!! The race was fun, I found various ways to cheat and cut the course and have a lot of fun....some guys were actually racing....I think. Or maybe I am just really slow with the extra 10 lbs Ive put on since nationals..

i wanted to try this pyscho cross but have been sick. Anyways i thought skate skiing would be easy since i skate right....wrong. It's tough and i can see why guys who ski are in shape in the summer on the bike. Take a lesson at soldier hollow....that helped me.
Anyways i started speedskating at 30 and i could barely keep up with the girls....like 8 year old girls. The 11 year olds were out of the question i remember :)
It's good for your ego....you have to start somewhere.
