Saturday MTB ride was good. Dog-Desolation-Crest-Keystone-Mine Grade-Mid Mountain-GW-Big Water with the Kaveman. We ran into the Mona Vie train rollin up GW.
Sunday- I attempted to get to the Yellow fork trail in Rose Canyon from home again on my CX with Mich Mud 2 tires, but ran out of time. On the way back I notice an animal in the road floppin around and just figured it had been hit by a car, when I got closer I noticed it was a skunk with a paper cup stuck on its head. At the same time a driver stopped, got out with a golf club and proceeded to help the skunk out by taking the cup off his head. This pissed him off more and he raised his tail and sprayed his stench, but missed the helpful driver and myself. Weird...
We hiked with the kids at Alta later in the day to beat the heat. It was nice but I think the kids need another year. # 2 was whining about being tired 100 yards from the car, #1 was off the front, #3 was chillin on my back in the pack having a good time. Mom was directing
