I love the RMR cross, nice and technical, and damn hard. This year was no exception. The weather was really nice. I think if it was wet the off camber grass sections would have been a little scary. I had a bad start, I dont really like to hammer from the gun so I was dead last for about a half a lap. I let things settle a bit before I started to make my charge. I knew I wanted to be with DH and Art's group as soon as possible. Soon I found myself 6 guys back chasing Art. Art crashed and slowed up Reed so I was able to catch him and sit on for a lap and then made my attack on the backside. This put me in 4th with a decent gap. With 3 to go DH was really putting on the gas behind me and I was sure he was going to get me, but with one to go I had enough juice to hit it hard and finish in a comfy 4th spot. I really had a good race, no mechanicals and pretty consistent mount and dismounts. I think this cross stuff is for me!
I also got to meet Stupidbike Bob and Forrest for the first time..

Good race. Sorry I called you "Chris" when you passed me, I was delirious by that point, and all you fast Porcs look the same anyway.

So would you say this is more like Mtn biking or road?
I would be happy to be half as fast as Chrispy. I take that as a comment even though I dont remeber anything from the last few laps of that race
