Got back Friday morning. Its nice to be home, no loud nurses barging in at 2 and 4 am to check the wife and give her drugs. Now its just me as the nurse and I am kinda lousy but life moves on. The little one is doing great its going to be a big adjustment having her around. 2 to 3 is a bigger step that I had envisioned. If I could only get the older 2 to listen and obey we would be good but that will not happen....ever.
I got out for a road ride early Saturday. I rode up Butterfield canyon from Ragtown. Its a good 60 mile trip with plenty of climbing. I am still feeling the low sleep count so I was happy just to get home in time to watch the kids get out of bed. My training now consist of pulling the older two around in a trailer and early morning rides. I figure I got at least 70 lbs behind me when I take them out. Thats some good training right. I cant say I have missed racing but I do miss riding with the team and the rest of my friends. I am taking a week off from work t help out, should be fun.

When you do Butterfield do you stop when the road turns to gravel or keep climbing? I've been curious what it's like after the pavement ends...
It is paved all the way to the top, It comes down Middle Canyon into Tooele after a couple miles of packed dirt. I do a loop with the cross bike a couple times a year..
Congrats on the new young one. Im looking forward to having one or tow some day. I think I saw you on your new training ritual through the rag town swimming/rec center compound. I dont think there are many people around here toting young ones on a nice bike.
