Am I now officially a pack filler Pro as I barely finished in front of the DNF's for an amazing 12th place finish! Yeah the first lap sucked, I felt good until we hit the dirt road climb then lost motivation and I started going backwards. Lap 2 was good, if I had 3 of those it would have been a different race but thats how it goes. When you blow the first 40 minutes of a MTB race your whole race is pretty much screwed. The course was much much better at race pace but the 180 degree turns at a full speed skid started to get old. I finished strong so it wasnt all bad. I'm thinking of baggin the State TT to get some redemption at Sundance!

Long Weekend
Super long weekend, I took Thursday and Friday off from work to "enjoy" a 5 day "break" from work. Well it wasnt much of a break unless your talking about my back and my spirit. I spent Thursday Friday and Monday working on my garage and Sat-Sun driving down to St.George in a 40 ft Uhaul going 55 mph on the downhill. I brought the Niterider so I could ride in the dark but it didnt happen. I moved a friend of mine down there. Unloaded the Uhual in 100 degrees for 6 hours then drove home just in time for bed. Great pre ride for Mondays MTB race....

Here is the garage all finished up (epoxy painted floor and custom shelves) at 10pm last night. I think Sly enjoys seeing my hardwork....
