Huh

So us cyclist had a little get together on Saturday. The A field was bigger than I have ever seen. Despite the LAME neutral lap(I agree with Sly on that one) it was on. I knew Primetime was gonna go full gas but we managed to get a couple guys with him so I stayed at the front of the group just doin my thing. About halfway through I could see a good break forming but could not get out of traffic fast enough to get in it. I saw DH and Curly make it and Crispy had been off the front for 5 laps. With 1.5 to go Skyler hits it hard and I take his wheel. We get off the main group so I decided to go for catching the break. I went solo down the drag strip and caught the group. To my surprise they werent too worried about being caught by the field which proved to be my downfall for the day. I had just blown catching the break only to have the main group catch with 1/2 to go. I could only watch DH destroy it from 1/2 to go and know he would win. Good job DH, your probably the only guy that can do that....Impressive. I was hoping to reach the break rest in the back and hit it again for the sprint...

Even though Sly says crits are gay, I could tell he was having a good time and he is definetly back in form. I took his wheel a couple times in hopes of getting to the break. I think he wanted to be there just as bad as I did.

I rode up Emigration again today and didnt have any close calls with cars this time. I ran into BadMF and Bart and chatted with them for a while. I even saw the Samurai climbing up, on my way down. He must have been in the zone because he didnt even look up as I came by. All in all a great weekend in the sun on the bike. My legs are destroyed and my skin is burnt. What more could you want!!!
