X-mas eve

I got the 2 hour recovery ride in this afternoon. The sun sets in Ragtown at 4:20pm which I have seen the last couple days while on the bike. The temp then proceeds to drop 5 degrees per minute thereafter, so when you start at 30 degrees it gets cold quick! I guess it beats the trainer.

One thing I did notice on the ride, you cant really tell the difference between ice, salt and glass this time of year until your riding through it. There is a lot of salt, a little ice and just a tiny bit of glass, hiding just waiting to embed its sharp fingernails into your soft rubber tire. Luckly I didnt run into any such glass today and kept both wheels uprught for the full 2. The bike path out by the airport has a fresh inch of snow that was fun hauling ass through.

This is probably my first year of being Santa for the kids. They have been a little young the last couple years. So tonight I got all sorts of toys to put together. It gonna be bull 30 for sure!

I just noticed this crap http://www.cyclingnews.com/mtb.php?id=news/2006/dec06/dec23mtbnews I need to get GA out of retirement to go kick these two dopers around Leadville

Well I'm getting the, "you have been on that computer to damn long," look so I better bounce.

MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU FILTHY ANIMALS
