Jana and I left the kids with my parents last night and went out for a night on the town. We headed for the Macaroni Grill for some Italian treats, then to the Gateway for some shopping and a movie. Its great to get out without the kids every now and then. I find myself being the anti-crying kid guy when mine arent around. "Shut that kid up". Now I dont know what happened between college and now but I am out of the loop as far as being cool. There isnt one thing at the Gateway I would waste my money on other than the chocolate factory which my wife dragged me into. Mmmm, that carmel apple was delicous!
It looks like another great winter weekend in the sun here in the Wasatch valley. I will ride my bike outside if it kills me! I got 4 days off starting tomorrow so I should be able to squeeze some good miles in there. Too bad most will be spent stationary on the basement, Sweatin to the Oldies.
