I dont know what it was this weekend, the BYU-Utah game, the constant NFL coverage, or I am just becoming an arrogant cyclist...but the whole "football players are goin into war", "these guys are so courageos", "have so much heart" is all a bunch of BULLSHIT! They are a bunch of guys that like to play a game, there arent heroes, they arent supermen, just a bunch of fatties running into each other because that is all there little brains can handle. Stick 99% of these guys in Iraq for a day and lets see how courageous and brave they are. Come on!
Sorry that was the rant for today. I just had too many highlights of BYU- Utah with the dramatic war music playing in the backgroud. Get a life people! To be honest I didnt even know the game was going on until I was outside and everything seemed to be a little quite in the hood. The gunshots stopped, the yelling and slamming of doors had seized and I knew something was going down...
3 nice and easy hours yesterday, and it was COLD the first 2. It looks like it will get even colder this week and the training will head indoors as I will not ride when its under 35 degrees. Hopefully I got DH amped to post something in his blog this week.
