tearing down

I tore down the Tarmac SL last night, just to make sure I was done riding it for the year. After the century last Saturday I was ready to saw it in half and throw it into the Virgin River. So Now its safely hidden in a box in Ragtown protected by an old 12 gauge Winchester. Its interesting how few parts go into a bike. I am missing one thing in this picture though. Anyone that can figure that one out gets a free can of Solid White Albacore Tuna....Mmmmm Mmmmmmm

Cross race tomorrow. One more beating and I am KO'd for the season. It has been the best season of racing for me by far. I am very lucky to have ended up with the Porcupine squad who have all helped me become a better racer. Big thanks to AJ for kicking me in the ass when I'm down and getting me going again. I would still be a Cat 4 without his help and encouragement. Next year is going to be ever better for the Porcupine Squad. We kept the team intact and got some more sponsors so its all good.

See you at RMR tomorrow. Cookies and punch at my place afterwards, its about a 10 minute bike ride from the course.

It might be a bit difficult to ride without the seat and seatpost. But hey, what do I know.

I'll be over for the cookies saturday, assuming I can make it 10 more minutes after spending an hour at my max hr.
