Got on the trail with my pal Adam at about 4:45. Started at the Terreces trailhead and did the Bowman Fork trail. Very good hike with lots of elevation gain. Summited in under 3 back in 2. We had planned to summit nearby Murdock but didnt have the time. We just barely made out before the 10pm gate closing. 
My cold treat at the top. I wish it really gave me wings cause going downhill in boots aint much fun. Last 20 minutes were in the dark and I forgot my headlamp.

The downhill slog is the problem with hiking. The whole time I keep thinking how much easier and fun the downhill would be on a mountain bike.
