Trail Day

I decided to skip a 1 day touring solo ride from SLC to Unknown Road, Malad Idaho. The weather didnt look good for camping with three little girls Saturday night at 7500 ft. so I bagged it, maybe in a couple weeks. I rolled up to Millcreek with my Dad to see if we could get to Dog lake and we did. Along the way we moved some big trees off the trail, shaved some branches off dead trees across the trail and other worthy trail maintenence activities. And when a tree falls in the forest it does make a sound. We had one fall about 10 ft from us. The Great Western Trail still has a bunch of snow and a lot of big trees across the trail, but I did make it to the clearingright where the double track starts. 3 more weeks of Fred free riding so go enjoy the MC. When I become the mayor or president I am gonna keep that gate closed all year long.

Tell em to keep the gate closed. I suggested they close all the canyons to cars including the cottonwoods and actually set up decent public transportation
