Good ol DV

Despite the lack of snow and torrential rain the race was still lots of fun. The course was perfect and very fast. I do well here because the climbs are short and you can see the top. I built my new hardtail the night before and she held up perfectly. I didnt start too fast but kept towards the front, rode with JV for a couple laps and with Tanner. On lap three I kicked it in gear and started to feel really good. I was catching and passing a lot of people but had no idea where I was in my group. I ended up 3rd with a good time. Had fun, but more importantly I think my month long infection has decided to exit my body. I got my fingers crossed anyway...

I have had my 3 girls by myself since Friday morning and I am surprised how well Dad is holding up. I even got all 3 ready for church including fixing their hair. I am very proud of that accomplishment. Lets just hope their Mom decides to come back today!

That is a dang sexy bike. I was looking at the epics this weekend. Congrats on the ride and the potential recovery
