Tour de Oquirhh

The tour around the Oquirhhs via Butterfield Canyon didn't happen, but I tried. There is still snow on the last couple switchbacks up Butterfield and Settlement Canyon was packed with plenty more of the white stuff so I was forced to make it an out an back. After suffering to the top I was greeted with a downpour on my way down. Nothing like snow soaked shoes, a sweaty helmet/jersey and rain going down 18% grades to get you close to hypothermia. I rode my CX/touring bike with 28c tires...she is a sweatheart. I can actually ride it for longer than 2 hours unlike the Tarmac which is too aggressive for my sissy shoulder to handle. I made my way back home getting in 3.5 for the day with plenty of climbing which helped after yesterdays no race.
