The shoulder held up ok, it started to bug a bit on the last lap but didnt effect the outcome of my day. I started in the back of the Exp 30-39 group and slowly made my way to the front by the end of the first lap. I gave a good push into the wind to see if I could break it up a bit. There was 3 of us working fairly well so I just hung on with these guys. Lap 2 I tried another attack at the same spot with the same results we passed a couple Pro's but I couldnt shake anyone. I tried getting my feed bottle from the dirt at the start of 3 and ended up in a bush and lost a lot of ground on the top 3. At this point I lost focus and just figured I could get the leaders back but I waited to long and missed an opportunity to go for the win. I was very happpy with my fitness and my sholder help up great. It felt good to be racing again. It should be a fun year racing dirt for CX practice.
Now on to 3+ hours of sun and single track before white line fever takes hold.
I miss my girls!!!

Glad the healing/healed shoulder held up. I'm sure it seems like an eternity to you, but it wasn't that long ago you broke it - and now your racing already. Good news.
Are we going to see you on the road this year?
White line fever? Rico, you're no Tom Boonen. Stay away from the cocaine and Lamborghinis.
hmmm road, whats that?
It's the coagulated sand you sometimes encounter in short sections of a cx course.
