bad weather

Another sunny cross race yesterday. 2007 will forever be the epic year of weather for Utah cross. 2008 not so much. Its still hard, but I think I have some good muddin skills that never got to be used as much as I would like. I like crossing the line and 30 seconds later become close to hypothermia. Its a good feeling, it makes you feel alive. I am not sure if anybody heard me at the rainy, muddy race at Wheeler, but I let out a huge yeaaaaah on the first lap as mud was flying into my eyes and brakes stop working, that to me is cross. When else does a 30 year old get to feel like a kid again? Maybe next week in KC. Just pray for good weather while I make the drive...please!!
The dry dusty run up. The last draper race was MUCH more fun. Today just hurt. Ended up 3rd and possibly 2nd or 3rd overall for the series.
Best sport on earth no matter what the weather!!
