Bad start...sorry all of you behind me, but we need some kind of warning that we are going. I had both feet on the ground at go, and watched everyone blow past. Add that to the worst legs I've had all year...it wasnt pretty. Lets hope for the opposite tomorrow!

I've been trying to give you guys a 15-30 second warning before the surprise start; even I wasn't expecting Ellie to call the start that quickly.
From your perspective as a racer, what's the best way to start a race that will a) prevent people from jumping the gun, but b) not catch people completely unawares as happened yesterday?
Yeah, she totally did a Gary Bywater start!
