As I began the Cross Vegas race 60 guys back I hear three laps to go as we start our first lap. Huh? Yeah the laps are long but 3 laps..Anyway I just pushed it as hard as I could for what felt like 10 minutes and found myself passing the lead group with half a lap to go I wasnt sure if or how many guys were off the front but it turned out to be 2 and I finished on the podium. McCormack and DLusio finished ahead of me and they both got call ups to the front row. Yeah I wish I was 10 guys back at the start I would have been able to battle for the W. I really should have raced Elites
I didnt stick around to see the finish of the Elites but Lance was there and I was 3 feet from him when he ate shit around a corner. Instead of taking a picture I just watched in awe amazed at what I just saw. His pedal made sparks!!

Jared- yeah that picture is my proof. The lead guys had a mile on me by the time I clipped in.
