If last nights DMV is any indication of the DH fitness, holy crap look out TOU, DH is on fire. In my first crit back since my MTB hiatus I got it handed to me quick. Off the back 10 minutes in, but I finished. My season has just begun, I hope to be back up to speed soon. I think going deep the night before at the Solitude race wasnt helping the legs.

I attacked from Go at Soli again and finally got the holeshot with Bob. We just about got killed by two trucks coming down at the same time as we started. I actually held off the skinny climbers for half the climb. Ohran caught me at the top and I hung on his wheel until the last lap and made my move to finish 4th again with my best time of the year. Thanks Ohran for helping me dig deep and push myself. The rain and cloud cover felt really nice. It was in the 50's.

Took the kids to The Goon(4 year old interpretation of Lagoon) yesterday, they had a blast and my oldest Mya barely hit the height to go on the Bat which is a pretty good coaster for a 4 year old, she loved it. The wife and I went back after the DMV and rode the new Wicked 3 times. If you find yourself heading to "The Goon" just head straight to Wicked and get in the single rider line and hope you get a front row seat. Its the secret to not waiting 50 minutes in line. Of course ya gotta ride the Fire Dragon..
