small town ADVENTURE

I often get the itch to get out of town and explore places I have never been. After a crappy ride in DV Saturday morning which included 2 right hand gloves, no under shirt and 4 bee stings I decided Saturday would be good to get outta dodge. So we filled up the minivan hooked up the tent trailer and left on an adventure.

The girls eyes light up when I say adventure, they always love to go. There is some land for sale in Fairview that we have been wanting to check out so off we headed that way. After some wheelin in the mini which required we drop the trailer, we had some dinner at the local drive-in, then headed to Manti to a campground. We didnt know it but the pageant thing was going down that night, we pulled in at 9 and drove over and watch it for a bit. I had never been, so it was cool and the kids were entertained. Next we got up at 5 am thanks to #3 and headed to town to find the only place for breakfast was Mcdonalds.

We hitched up the trailer and headed south again to my Aunts house in Central Valley which is just a few miles south of Richfield. She got tired of the 9-5 corporate gig a couple years back and decided to sale her house and move to the country. It has done wonders for her health and well-being. After some swimming in her pool and a serious haul-ass ride up a mountain on an ATV it was time for bed.

Today we came home the long way missing all major freeways. Its much more fun cruising through all the small towns. I need to find one for me to hide one day!! I didnt even think about the bike for 2 days that was sandwiched in the back of the van. I think we may have a summer full of adventures.

That sounds like a blast. I my self am looking for land as well. Depends on what your looking for, Ashly national forest area has some nice spots if you like remote. But once again depends on what your looking for.

Keep us posted on the "adventures". We had something like that last year when we up north through Montana and back through Idaho. Our gig is to stop at the mom and pa restaurants.
