Sand doesn't flow
Cholla was interesting today. A small field maybe 9 guys in the Pro group, it stayed close most of the first lap. Then came the sand and I was all over the place. I realized quick that I dont ride in sand....ever. Lap 1 was horrible, though about packing it in at that point. Lap 2 and 3 were much better. I chased Chippo most of the race and finally caught him with a few miles to go. Thanks for the motivation. Pretty lame course, I think I finished 5th, I didnt stick around to find out. 3 more hours in the sun tomorrow on Stucki/Bearclaw/Zen/Race Course before the trek home. Looks like a nice tailwind all the way to the big city. I think I'm catching up with Sly on the tan....

Yeah, that course pretty much sucked. Though at least we didn't have to deal with the crazy wind of yesterday. That made for an eventful pre-ride to say the least, one that about had me packing for home a day early.
