My training has been going great so far, but this week I've hit the wall. I was looking forward to the HON tomorrow, but pulled the plug Wednesday after a couple weak rides this week. When I say weak rides, I mean I didnt want to turn the pedals anymore type stuff. I just wanted to find a warm soft spot and fall asleep for a long time. I even bailed on Tuesday's RMR although I think racing in the oval was the deciding factor in that decision. Fortunately the race season doesnt start until September. I hope to find some sort of feeling back in the legs before the Hurricane race ...err I mean group ride with number plates. Maybe I've just got the same thing T-Bird has.....vaginitis?#?!?**

Anyway, do you ride bikes to increase your bank account or for fun? If the later, take a break man. You always seem to be pushing really hard. Its too early in the season to burn out just yet.

i havnt ridden for 7 days, feels great. take a nap, you will feel right in a few days. better yet dont think your getting fat and out of shape, the mental side of rest is important as the down time.

Focus on cross, everything else is just the journey to cross season. If you can keep this fired up for cross when it finally rolls around you are going to crush it.
