New Wheels

I finally broke down and decided to upgrade the family hauler. If you have kids and dont own an Odyssey, your missing out. Once you get over your pride about driving a minivan you realize that this is the ultimate machine on the road today. Seriously I was against it a few years back and bought a Pilot SUV instead, sold that for the first Ody. Once you go minivan you'll never go back. I'm thinking of keeping the old one for my personal ride. Me and Sly can haul everybodies shit around!

Now for the bad part- I gotta go to St.George on Friday to get it, shoot that sucks I guess I'll have to bring the Epic...

I guess this means I have a ride to Idaho next season for CX.

I resisted the minivan for years, too.

When our Dodge Grand Caravan peters out in a few years, I'll get another one.

Make sure you have the DVD player for the kids -- nothing calms 'em down and shuts 'em up on a long road trip like Finding Nemo or Little Mermaid.

j_e, beware of the dodge caravan.. my arch nemesis. My family has owned a couple of those P.O.S.'s and they are money pits after about 80000 miles. Just for your FYI!!

Yeah, I've been looking at trading my wife's Explorer for either an Odyssey or Sienna. Does the new ride have a receiver hitch? One thing I've come to love is my hitch rack and any van will need to come so equipped if it's to live in my garage!

our caravan has been good to us so far and we've got 110,000 on it. only problem has been a blown AC/Heater compressor and some squeeky brakes.

When we get new wheels it might not be a caravan, but it will almost certainy be a minivan -- or maybe the new Mazda CX9

The only thing worse than a minivan is a minivan with DVD players.

easily said for a guy with only two kids.

increase that total to four and a minivan will look very appealing.

I would have stopped at two myself, but my wife just couldn't keep her hands off me. Now we have four kids and a minivan -- but it's got a sweet bike rack.

Turbo- step it up a notch and go for # 3, then comes the minivan. Its just a fact of life. You'll see the light one day, young minivan hater

No way!! I will get a land yacht before a minivan.
And don't even get me started on DVD players...

You will be riding faster than you will be driving in that thing. Its all about the station wagon.

I'll take on any wagon with this sweet Japanese missle, and haul more junk

I tried to many vehicle combinations, nothing beats sitting on the low back bumper of a minivan with the door blocking the sun overhead. Male minivan driver and proud of it.
