I ripped the Zen trail with Prime Time "Big Watts" Fox yesterday. A good trail that should be on your list when you go down to the SG. Sly's GPS in his head was a little off because I got his ass out of bed a little early, so I could get a ride in before making the drive back to the big city. Fox is rollin good.
The folks in SG have seriously got it made in the winter, the sun comes out and it feels like 60 but its really in the 50's. I see myself heading south a lot this year. The trip with the family was great. The Bruins really made us feel at home and gave up half their house for my whole crew which is 5 strong. The kids had a great time playing with their kids and for the most part got along. To be honest its a little depressing coming back to cold, snow and inversion but I guess this is where I hang my hat.
So here are a few things ya'll might not know about me
1-For the past 10 years almost every morning I eat Hungry Jack Frozen Waffles with Golden Griddle Maple syrup. I found these frozen treats when I lived in SG for a couple years and never looked back, here is the kicker, as far as I know Pillsbury just discontinued these little slices of heaven. Eggo's just arent the same
2- I raced BMX as a kid but caved early to societies pressure to play football and baseball. I credit any skill I have on a bike now to the few years I raced as E.T. and have thought of getting back on the track one of these days if my girls have interest.
3- Post BMX era I have never owned or even ridden a bicycle brand that didnt start with the letter "S". Schwinn, Specialized, and Spot. Sheltered I know. R was the letter for BMX with Robinson and Redline with an occasional Elf..yeah Elf
4-I cant own a car for more than 2 years, Its a disease. Anyone need a Mazda P5 hatchback?
5- At the tender age of 29, I am on my second marriage. I only mention this because I was not in a good place a few years back and I want anyone that is going through that shit to know that it goes away and eventually you wont even think about it. My life is 100% better because of it, so keep your head up
