ahhhh

Congrats to DH who arrived just in time from the airport, after a short sleep among other things, to take the 35+ state title. DH can seriously put out the watts, and Wheeler suits him good. Which me on the other hand cant seem to find any spare wattage. I went a little fast into one of the many gravel corners and ended up belly side down sliding to a stop. Ended up like 5th or 6th after Sam the Man caught me with 1 to go. I tried my damndist(that is a word right) to stay with him but just couldnt do it.

On another note I have to bitch just a little bit, not about the course or the weather, they were both great but about a certain "Pro" racing on a mountain bike with the A's. To call our group "Cat 4's" among other things and to ride with both legs spread apart and elbow out into the run up section on the first lap just to be funny, I guess, was pretty lame. It really slowed some of us down. And I personally need every second I can get. I have lost respect for a "Pro" that I think a lot of people look up to.Maybe the Boulder crowd is just that much better than us Utah hacks or maybe I just expect more class from a seasoned "Pro".

Looks like Sam is putting on a race next weekend in the Poki. I hope I can make the trip.
