I will be the hound in this story. I felt like the overweight bassett hound chasing Sly Fox around the mountain last night. This guy rides just like GA. No rest on the DH cause your drilling it just to keep him in sight. Now I must say I might have an easier time in the day because I am a little slower in the dark. We headed up to Dog Lake then down to Mill D and up to Lake Desolation. Sly was excited to ride the spine in the dark. I opted to stay below and drag his ass of the mountain if needed. In my mind I used the, "I have 3 kids at home excuse" It works everytime. This was the first time I had been up on the crest in the dark and the sights from the Spine in the dark are amazing. You can see the SL Valley and the PC lights. We ended up helping 3 lost soles find their way back to their truck in the dark on the way down. So we have some good Karma coming our way soon...hopefully Saturday in PC!
Ohh and winter is coming....I rode with leg and arm warmers last night
