Poor kid just got her throat ripped out now I'm forcing a nasty 2 ml if generic liquid Lortab down her throut so she feels a bit better. I wont even taste the stuff for fear of involuntary vomiting. I does the trick, I must say within 10 minutes she is back to an almost normal state, then it slowly fades and she is back in her throut inferno misery. Am I a bad parent? I thought I was doing her a favor before she came out of surgery now I am having second thoughts. She'll thank me later. Kids grow up to fast. I just brought this one home and now she is going to dance, getting her tonsils out and signing up for preschool. I'll be kickin her out of the house in no time!
I did the double today to get in my 4 hours. 2 in and 2 out. I should be able to get out with the boys tomorrow for a few. I gotta remember the sunblock..

hopefully the little one is feeling better quickly. J-dorade had a wonderful tonsilectomy experience...she only had to return to the hospital once completely dehydrated.

Hang in there with the girl. She'll bonce back quickly. T-man had his out about the same age and was back to normal in a few days. It's tuff watching them hurt.
I could see DH and Step-the-man from a distance today. Put the hurt on them for me.
