Wednesday

Wake up to 5 inches in the driveway(remember this) roll on into work very slow in the snow. Magna gets plowed once the east side is completly plowed, salted and everyone is happy. Work for 8 hours, go to school for 4 hours, head home at 7pm thinking I wonder if one of my nice neighbors has plowed my driveway for me with their ATV? That would be so nice since I havent had time, or even if the wife has shoveled a little off. I pull into the drive and notice my driveway has been driven on 20 times and all the snow is packed down and is now ice. Not just in one spot but the whole thing. I dont have a regular size 2 car driveway. I have a 3 car garage with a nice size RV pad on the side, we are talking a good 50x40" chunk of concrete. I just sigh and head down to the pain palace and get in my 1 hour workout on the bike 100 + cadence with watts under 200. Its 9:30 I'm tired and the driveway needs to be shoveled, so out I go full snowboarding gear and Ipod in hand. 2 hours later I have a clean drive. Thanks to my great neighbor friends, I notice you plowed right up to my property line. Sorry I made so much noise with that shovel chipping ice away at 11pm!

The best thing was my 3 year old comes trotting out of the house in her pajamas, a bowl, and a spoon and says, "I want some snow Daddy". I wish I was 3 again!
