Tour de St. George

To be honest this was my first actual Century ride that I kinda paid for. What a funny event! 300 people show up to ride there bike 100 miles. Everybody comes out of the woodwork for this one. You get the guys who take off really fast and start losing it and look back at you and want you to pull, so I thought it was fun to hold it at 28 MPH and watch them fall away. So after 50 miles in the wind and a big sandwich at the halfway point I had had enough. Zipped back to base and took a nap. I couldnt take it any longer and the sandwich was about to come back up. I really have lost the desire to ride that silly road bike. I wouldnt miss it if I dont ride it until March.

70 degrees and sunny and I dont want to ride, maybe tomorrow I will hit Stucki Springs that always brings a smile to my face. The couch and endless football coverage sounds good to me!
