After a couple hard racing weekends in a row the season is over for me. Sanpete was a great way to end it. I won the field sprint with the help of my team, we almost caught the 3 guys that got off the front in the 3's. We missed them by maybe 5 seconds. The 1/2s and the 3s raced together. I was happy to just hang on to the main group. I broke a spoke on my rear wheel about 60 miles into it and had to get some help from the team car to get back on. The wheel they gave me was of course way off from what my other wheel was so I couldnt get into the lowest gears and I had to shift down twice before it would even change.
Yesterday I slept in and just layed around the house. I got the tent trailer all ready to go and got the van all wired up so we are again ready for the great outdoors. My focus now is finishing off a bathroom and a bedroom/hair salon in my basement. My wife cuts hair and this will save us a good $400 a month by having her do it from home. I am just not sure about weirdos in my house all the time. Owell I have the basement on lockdown so they cant wander around the house.
I think tonight would be a great day to do some nightriding in up Millcreek. Anyone else feelin like a late singletrack ride under the stars?
