Big H counting down the seconds to pain

Sunday morning didnt go as planned, after the crit Saturday night I was sitting 4th GC and all I had to do was hang on to the climbers over 50 miles and 5500 ft of climbing. No problem right.......wrong the course starts out after 1 mile with a super steep hill that goes for a good 3 miles, I was off the back quick. I didnt get a good warmup and I was hurtin. I spent the rest of the race pretty much solo trying to get back on. It never happened but I did start to feel better after about 1.5 hours, but that was way too late. That afternoon was the TT, I was pretty thrashed after that mornings climb fest but I really wanted to do well. I ended up 5th again for the third time in the weekend. Mediocre Rasmussen strikes again!!!!!

I dont see how I will ever upgrade to a 2 with crappy results like this. AJ and DH were destroying fields when they were 3's. I cant even make top tens. I hope it was just one bad race. So now I rest and wait for Sanpete this weekend, the team is looking for some wins to finish off the season strong.
